Three scholars honored for international collaborative work in 2014

Jiangsu provincial government announced the winners of "Jiangsu Friendship Award 2014" and the awarding ceremony is scheduled on September 19, 2014 in Nanjing. Prof. Graham Shields from NIGPAS and the other 21 foreign experts from various institutions in Jiangsu win the top provincial honor in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of Jiangsu.

Three pairs of researchers received the 2014 CAS International Cooperation Award for Young Scientists according to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) News. Dr. HUANG Diying from NIGPAS and Dr. Michael Engel from University of Kansas, USA win the award. This award, launched in 2011, honors young international scientists and their hosts (hostesses) for their innovative research and important achievements.
