On November 23^rd, Secretary General LOU Qinjian, Communist Party Committee of Jiangsu Province paid an inspection visit to NIGPAS. Director YANG Qun of NIGPAS gave a brief report about the institution. Secretary Lou appreciated the long history, the advanced technological facilities and the recent academic achievements of the institute. In particular, he praised the application of GBDB database on the exploration of shale gas, which would facilitate the development of the local economy in Jiangsu.
