  NIGPAS is well-equipped with modern observational and analytical equipments and facilities such as Micro-CT (Xradia 520 Versa), scanning electron microscopes (LEO1530VP, equipped with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscope, TM3000), confocal laserscanning microscope (LSM710), isotope ratio mass spectrometers (MAT253, DELTA V), gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (TSQ Quantum GC), ICP-MASS spectrometer, ICP-OES spectrograph, laser ablation system, genetic analyzers, and peripherals in addition to fossil pretreatment laboratories. All of the facilities are open to the scientists all over the world.
