Professor LUO Hui, Director of Department of Micropalaeontology 

Current research includes systematics, evolution, biostratigraphy, palaeoecology and geochemistry of major microfossil groups, such as ostracods, conodonts, foraminiferans, radiolarians, charophytes, dinoflagellates, diatoms, acritarchs, stromatolites and calcareous algae. Special emphasis is placed on Precambrian palaeontology and the early evolution of life.
