Heads of various departments of the NIGPAS visited Japan

  From April 15 - 20, 2019, at the invitation of Pro. Makoto Manabe, chairman of the Paleontological Society of Japan (PSJ) and Tokyo national science museum, Pro. Zhan Renbin, the director of the NIGPAS and chairman of the Paleontological Society of China (PSC), and Pro. Wang Yongdong, science communication center manager of NIGPAS and deputy chairman of the PSC, visited Japan to conduct consultations and discussions on the cooperation and exchange between the PSC and PSJ. The council members and secretariat members conducted thematic exchanges and discussions on the establishment of the Asian Paleontology Association (APA), preparations for the convening of the first Asian Paleontological Congress (APC) with celebration the 90th anniversary of the PSC.
