On May 16, the 3rd Spring Pollen Forum Seminar convened by Researcher MAO Limi and Associate Researcher SHU Junwu from the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS) was successfully held. This online conference attracted more than 200 colleagues from different regions (peak of 216 people). The participants were mainly from the Chinese Academy of Sciences system and universities in other regions.

Each report of the previous conferences should be reported for at least 30 minutes. However, this online conference boldly made the first attempt to give colleagues more opportunities to communicate. Therefore, this conference schedule was significantly more than previous conferences, and the entire online meeting lasted more than 6 hours. The synchronous online sharing of useful questions and suggestions, and the wonderful and inspiring comments had benefited all participants.
