On September 7-10, the IGCP653 project "The Initiation Process of Ordovician Biological Radiation Event" was hosted by the University of Copenhagen and held on the Zoom platform. This online conference included a 4-day academic report, attended by more than 200 experts and scholars from 28 countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Russia, the United States, Australia, South Korea and China.
More than 10 postgraduates including researcher ZHANG Yuandong, associate researcher WANG Guangxu, associate researcher LIANG Yan, Dr. LI Qijian, Dr. ZHANG Junpeng, GONG Fangyi, QUAN Wanwan, etc., from Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS), registered and participated in the conference.
