From May 12-14, the 2023 annual forum of the Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) came to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. International youths from 14 countries experienced the modern city with openness, vitality and ecological charm in Nanjing.
During the trip, the international youth went to Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS), to experience the "Nanjing power" of the innovation capital. Research Professer WANG Jun, deputy drector of NIGPAS, and representatives of young researchers received the visit and had a discussion with them at Nanjing Museum of Palaeontology.
During the visit, the international youth interacted with the young researchers of NIGPAS, and learned in detail and spoke highly of the institute's innovative approach to geological and palaeontological research using new technologies and methods.
