On July 6, Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham Univerisity, Thailand, and Anongrit Kangrang, Vice President for Infrastructural Development, Research and Innovation, and Mongkol Udchachon, Director of Palaeontological Research and Education Centre, visited Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS) and had a bilateral discussion and exchange.
Research Professer WANG Jun, deputy director of NIGPAS, firstly expressed a warm welcome to the visit of the Mahasarakham Univerisity and briefly introduced the participants.
After that, Research Professer ZHAN Renbin, pointed out that the two sides have carried out a series of scientific research cooperation after signing a memorandum of cooperation in November 2019.
After listening to the introduction of NIGPAS, Prayook Srivilai showed a promotional video of Mahasarakham University and gave a brief introduction of the basic situation of the University.
During the seminar, the two sides discussed in depth about joint training of students, promotion of cooperative research, mutual exhibition of museum, and database sharing, etc. They both agreed to further strengthen communication on the basis of the good cooperation in the previous period and promote the effective strategic cooperation between the two sides.
