Academic Activities with NIGPAS People

Approved by the Deep-time Digital Earth (DDE Plan), the first DDE International Workshop for Paleo-CO₂ Reconstruction was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang from September 10^th to 17^th, 2024. The workshop was sponsored by DDE project, Paleo-CO₂ Task Group and Phanerozoic CO₂ Reconstruction and Integration Project (CO₂PIP), and was hosted by Zhejiang Shenshi Digital Earth International Research Center, with academic support from Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Zhejiang University and Zhijiang Laboratory. More than 30 authoritative experts and young students and scholars from China, the United States, Sweden, Norway, Argentina, France and India attended the meeting.

From August 23^rd to 26^th, 2024, the Palynological Branch of the Palaeontological Society of China (PSC) convened the Second Academic Meeting and Council Meeting of the Branch 11^th Council in Tianshui, Gansu, China, to fully demonstrate and summarize the research progress in various fields of palynology in recent years, and to promote academic exchanges and subject development.

During October 18^th to 23^rd, 2024, the 21^st Academic Annual Meeting of the Fossil Algae Professional Committee of the Palaeontological Society of China (PSC), with the 12^th Member Representative Conference and the 20^th Academic Annual Conference of the Micropaleontology Branch of PSC was successfully held in Qingdao, Shandong Province.
