In July 2024, ZHENG Daran, Research Professor of NIGPAS, was awarded the Kamide Lecture Award at the 21st Annual Meeting of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS), and gave a plenary report entitled "The Spatio Temporal Evolution of the Early Cretaceous Jehol Biota in East Asia" as a representative of interdisciplinary earth sciences.
