The "Permian vegetation of the Wuda Fossil Site" led by NIGPAS was designated and included in the list of the Second 100 IUGS Geological Heritage Sites

In August 2024, the International Union of Geological Sciences published the Second 100 IUGS Geological Heritage Sites in IGC 2024 Busan, Republic of Korea, and the "Permian vegetation of the Wuda Fossil Site" (Inner Mongolia) led by NIGPAS was successfully designated and included.
