On April 16-22, a group of three delegates from Paleontological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences (PIN RAS) headed by the director Sergey V. Rozhnov, paid a special visit to Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS).

During the visit, a special discussion was made to talk about the issues of academic exchanges between NIGPAS and PIN RAS. Prof. Alexander Ponomarenko, Prof. Tatiana Leonova and Prof. Sergey Rozhno gave three excellent seminars on “New data on P/T crisis”, ”Morphogenesis of the Permian ammonoids” and “Combinatorial Model for the Formation of Body Plans in Higher Metazoan Taxa: Paleontological Insight”.
