The Workshop on Advanced Techniques for Palaeobiology organised by Prof. Philip Donoghue from University of Bristol, UK and Dr. YIN Zongjun from NIGPAS was held in Nanjing on 16th – 18th November, 2016.
About the 100 scholars and students from more the 20 institutions attended the workshop, which was run to convey the new paleobiological skills such as synchrotron X-ray microtomography, computed tomography, fossil-analysis software, the application of computed fluid dynamics, etc.
