On November 12, the 2019 international conference on the Cambrian Explosion was held in Chengjiang, Yunnan. The conference was hosted by the NIGPAS, and co-organized by the Chengjiang County People's Government. The Chengjiang biota, at the core of the Cambrian explosion, has been discovered for 35 years since 1984. The purpose of this international seminar is to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the discovery of the Chengjiang biota, introduce the research results of Cambrian animals to the international communities, exchange the latest research progress of the Cambrian explosion, and discuss more research directions of the Cambrian explosion.
